The Ekiti State Ministry for Innovation, Science and Digital Economy invited Managing Director for Founder Institute Lagos, Mr Ifedy Eze to share his expert on idea validation and helping entrepreneurs build successful businesses. He led a session on translating bright ideas into viable opportunities through strategic thinking and execution, as well as joined a panel of other highly distinguished speakers to explore conversation on sustainable innovation in Ekiti State.
In his session he emphasized that Ideas alone are not investable. People invest in business opportunities, not ideas. And from an investor perspective, opportunity refers to both market and talent opportunity. While market opportunity focuses on the viability and scale potential of the idea, talent opportunity assesses the feasibility and capacity of the founding team to drive the business to initial success.He noted that funding is unlocked at the intersection of market and talent opportunity. When founders prioritize knowledge and network capital, financial capital becomes a natural consequence.
